History
Brunel University’s history traces back to the 18th century when it opened as a college, after multiple predecessor name changes, it came to be known as Brunel University London. Recently Brunel, celebrated 50 years as a University educational institute. In which they rose in rankings and reputation significantly throughout the years. Brunel University is located within the heart of London, only a few minutes away from the major Heathrow airport in London.
The University is a hub of 150 different countries, where almost over 3000 international students are admitted annually, which provides a very vibrant and multicultural experience in Brunel. Regarding, the field of engineering brunel has been ranked within the top 100 best universities worldwide, whereas it boasts a 32nd ranking among the European institutions according to the THES World Rankings.
